The fabulous music engravings of Dennis Bathory-Kitsz
or music you could hang on the wall after the performance

There was a time in the 60's that composers used the modern score practices ONLY for framing and hanging. It was not meant to be played and maybe couldn't be played. Each of these sample pages can and are being played.

This piece was looked at strangly by about 100 people before one ran up and hugged the score, crying and saying he'd been looking for this all his life.

And then, it started pouring, we had to put the scores over our heads to keep our stage makeup from running

After eating our noon meal, we picked up our guns and carefully snuck into the jungle.

Even cowgirls have to wash up before coming into the house after a day of bronco riding. We have to maintain standards.

I crooon by the Silvery moooon as I paddle my canoe upriver

And then, and then, and then...It was a dark and storm night. We only had a hammer to change the tire with. I went looking for wood, when I got back the others were gone....
