I just put your new CD in the player. I have decided that Gwyneth Walker is my favorite composer of this time.
I've been culling my huge CD collection because after 10 years I needed to clear some room. Oh this Walker makes me think of
Stephen Foster! Except Fosters music wouldn't have the arpeggios underneath. Walker is so very "American Signature Series".
I've been surprised to find out that many of the albums I loved 10 years ago I no longer even like. I hope this means I've grown. It has been a great experience having the new music of my time flow through my hands and ears. I am so glad the times have turned and music is romantic again. The 20th century was so, so, um cerebral. Ah, Astor Piazzolla is wonderful too. Thank you so much for this album.
